Alan Paine SS13 Ice Cool Knitwear
English heritage brand Alan Paine was founded in 1907 and for over 100 years they have produced the highest quality knitwear for a worldwide market. For Spring/Summer 2013, Alan Paine has sourced a new yarn blending Supima Cotton and Clima fibres to create knitwear that will actually keep you cool in hot weather. Combining tradition elements with pioneering technology, Alan Paine is the world’s first knitwear producer to use this innovative new fibre.
The specially formulated Clima fibre is made from natural fibres of renewable raw materials and helps to keep the body cool by working with your core temperature and reacting accordingly to keep you cooler even on the warmest days.
This is achieved through natural paraffin in the fibre which helps to maintain a constant temperature and thermal regulating features which minimise heat fluctuations between the fabric and the body.
Another characteristic of the fibre is that it is resilient to washing, and so maintains its functionality on a long term basis, no matter how many times it is washed.
Alan Paine will offer this Vee Neck knit in 5 colours including a classic navy, sky blue and a summer coral.
The Alan Paine Ice Cool knitwear range will be available to buy from www.alanpaine.co.uk and selected stockists nationwide with retail prices starting at £95.
