British Elegance From Hackett

It was following the meeting of Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings in 1979 on Portobello Road that the story of Hackett takes off. Initially offering second-hand clothes, in 1985 the duo decided to make their own clothes. Closely linked with the polo world, in the following years Hackett gained an unprecedented success, making the brand a key player of British fashion.

With a strong British identity, Hackett offers a full, dandyish male wardrobe. Indeed, everything about the brand (from the clothes to the accessories) spells elegance. The best of traditional English dressing.

Taking inspiration from the rich world of polo, Hackett is inextricably linked with the history of classic British male dress, which makes it an essential brand. Since its inception on Portobello Road in the eighties it now offers a full wardrobe for men.

Using strong colours and patterns, the British brand also collaborates with such famous British institutions as Oxford University, the National rugby team, and Aston Martin (which has a special Hackett line).

For summer 2013, Hackett takes us to the beach, with a collection inspired by sunny days on the Mediterranean sea and a typically British elegance. With its pastel jackets and colourful chinos, the collection has an unmistakably Gatsby touch.
