Following on from the success of AW13, Kenzo has once more enlisted the help of surreal image-makers TOILET PAPER magazine to create a collection of fantastical scenes to promote their new spring collection.
Kenzo designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have described this shoot as “a fantasy world of giant fish, waves and mesmerising marine elements” but somehow even that description sells TOILET PAPER’s dreamlike vision short.
The campaign sees Sin City actress Devon Aoki and model Paul Boche transported to a pop-colour world where perception and perspective are warped beyond comprehension. Swirling blue waves and various sea animals feature throughout, as both are fundamental to the beach-side theme of the current SS14 collection.
This short animated video splices together some of the key images from the campaign.

Here are some of our favourite images from the campaign, including prawn sunglasses and a thumbs up image to rival David Shrigley’s recently successful fourth plinth commission for Trafalgar Square.
