The blank canvas collaboration reworks the instantly recognisable styles of the Fred Perry Bomber Jacket and Lavenham Gilet. The two brands combine to create a new quilt pattern and cords trims blended with Fred Perry tartan lining and ‘Bomber’ details. Finished with fabric taken from Lavenham’s original nylon quilted jacket and with a fit that is as you would expect from Fred Perry, slim and sharp.
The tennis Bomber is a simple, athletic jacket with classic ribbing at the collar, hem, and cuffs. Fred Perry have re-imagined it for this season’s collaboration with famed British firm Lavenham. Gilets are a vital piece of outdoor kit – warm and windproof, but flexible and active. Both styles have built in the Lavenham hallmark diamond quilting and Fred Perry have given it a reference to their 70s subculture following by choosing a tartan lining from Marton Mills of Scotland. The jackets, as always, made in England, finished with signature 30-leaf Laurel Wreath embroidered to the chest.
The collection is available in both mens and womens. Featuring classic colourways – black and gold, navy and red, black and red, and black on black. Prices range from £195 to £250 – sure to be a hit with fans of either brand and streetwear obsessives.
